Algae, one of Earth’s oldest life forms, has quietly sustained our planet for billions of years, producing oxygen, purifying water, and forming the base of countless food chains. Despite their essential role, algae often go unnoticed. This artwork honors these unsung heroes. Inspired by an algae-covered rock by a calm lake, I used the pinch technique to create organic textures that capture the quiet power of algae, reminding us of their unseen contributions to our world and their potential for future innovations in medicine and industry.
